Chef Music Records (“Chef Music Records,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of every artist, client, and visitor. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and Artist Portal, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly through account creation, bookings, uploads, and communications, including:
- Name
- Artist name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Social media links
- Files you upload (reference tracks, vocals, stems, artwork)
- Session information (dates, services booked, notes)
- Booking information
- Payment information (processed by our third-party payment provider)
- Website and portal analytics data (device, browser, usage patterns)

- Account management and artist profile maintenance
- Booking management and session scheduling
- File delivery and project workflow
- Artist communication regarding sessions, mixes, masters, and follow-ups

How Your Information Is Stored
Account, profile, booking, and file data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure operated by our hosting and database providers. Uploaded files are stored in protected storage buckets with access restricted to the artist who uploaded them and authorized Chef Music Records staff.

- Authentication required for all Artist Portal access
- Role-based access controls limiting staff access to what they need
- Row-level security on artist records and uploaded files

SMS Communications
By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive informational text messages from CHEF MUSIC RECORDS LLC regarding recording sessions, appointment confirmations, artist development services, customer support, order updates, and account notifications.

Data Sharing
Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
Payment Information
Payments for recording credits, sessions, and merchandise are processed by third-party payment providers. Chef Music Records does not store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details on its own systems. Limited payment metadata (such as transaction IDs and the last four digits of a card) may be retained for receipts, refunds, and fraud prevention.
Updating Your Account
You may update your name, artist name, phone number, social links, and profile details at any time inside the Artist Portal. For changes you cannot make yourself, email info@chefmusicrecords.com and we will update your record within a reasonable timeframe.
Deleting Your Account
You may request deletion of your Artist Portal account at any time by emailing info@chefmusicrecords.com. Upon verification we will remove your profile and uploaded files, except where retention is required for tax, accounting, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, completed booking and payment records).
Cookies and Analytics
We use minimal cookies and standard analytics to keep you signed in, maintain session state, and understand how the website and portal are used so we can improve them.
Children
The Artist Portal is intended for users who are at least the age required by Chef Music Records’ Studio Policies. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone below that age.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the website or Artist Portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
