Artist Content & Upload Agreement.
Ownership, rights, and responsibilities for content uploaded to the Chef Music Records Artist Portal.
Effective June 24, 2026
By uploading any content to the Chef Music Records Artist Portal — including reference tracks, vocals, stems, instrumentals, lyrics, artwork, or any other audio or visual material (collectively, “Artist Content”) — you agree to the terms below.
Ownership
You retain full ownership of your Artist Content. Nothing in this agreement transfers copyright or master rights in your original recordings, performances, or compositions to Chef Music Records.
License to Chef Music Records
You grant Chef Music Records a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, host, process, transmit, reproduce, and deliver your Artist Content through the Artist Portal solely for the purpose of providing you with recording, mixing, mastering, file delivery, artist profile, and related services. This license ends when your Artist Content is removed from our systems, except as required for backups, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
Artist Representations
- You own, or have all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and clearances to upload your Artist Content and have Chef Music Records process it.
- Your Artist Content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, publicity right, privacy right, contract, or other right of any third party.
- Any samples, interpolations, features, co-writes, or beats used in your Artist Content are properly cleared, licensed, or otherwise authorized.
- Your Artist Content is not illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise prohibited under the Terms of Use.
Removal Rights
Chef Music Records may, at its sole discretion, remove, refuse to host, or take down any Artist Content that it believes is unauthorized, infringing, inappropriate, or in violation of the Terms of Use, Studio Policies, or applicable law. We may also suspend or terminate accounts engaged in repeated or serious violations.
DMCA & Takedown Requests
If you believe content on the Artist Portal infringes your copyright or other rights, contact info@chefmusicrecords.com with the work you claim is infringed, the location of the content, your contact information, and a good-faith statement of infringement. Chef Music Records will review and act on valid notices.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Chef Music Records against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your Artist Content or your breach of the representations in this agreement.
Promotional Use
Chef Music Records will not commercially release your Artist Content without a separate written agreement. Limited promotional use of approved snippets, photos, or short video clips of sessions for Chef Music Records’ own marketing is governed by the Studio Policies.
